Interns from Indian Ridge Farm in Norwood attended the May 1st CRAFT session, Animal Husbandry, presented byEmily Hartnett. Here's a comment made by one of the interns: "I loved seeing Emily's relationship with her goats and chickens. I learned quite a bit about alternative ways to manage livestock, such as feeding them sprouted grain, grain mash, roadkill, etc. It was great to hear it all first hand from such a wonderful person."

Cottage Foods Act Update: Colorado's Department of Health published a guide regarding the Act.  Note: Sales of products are also allowed through community fairs and festivals and through CSAs.
